About the Breeder

Our Story

Welcome to the internet home of Uey's Chihuahuas. We are a classy, small Florida kennel located next to The Villages that breeds short coat and long coat Chihuahua puppies. We breed many colors including blues, merles, brindles, and chocolates — but exclusively breed Chihuahuas.

We are located in Summerfield, Florida and sell pure bred Chihuahua puppies from AKC registered parents. Every Chihuahua puppy and their parents are home raised with love and care.

Total Dedication

Our dogs do not live in a bedroom or garage in crates like most breeding dogs do. Someone is always home with these dogs and puppies. We never leave our dogs alone and do not go on vacations. These dogs are our life. We have no outside jobs either and believe this is the only way to properly run a business like this. It takes TOTAL dedication.

The breeder's name is Jeanne Eubanks in case you want to look me up. 03/16/1961 I graduated from The University of Florida with honors. My degree is in health science education and I have been studying nutrition for decades. My dogs eat very well here.We are very transparant here and do not lie about our motivation to breed chihuahuas.

Total Transparency Without Lies

We breed chihuahuas because we love chihuahuas. My husband and I have no outside job. We believe that a breeder needs to be home with their babies. Some breeders claim they only breed to improve the breed because of dedication. They brag about having outside jobs and not breeding for a profit. While doing so, they constantly have litters available and have more than one breed. Some breed chihuahuas and large breed dogs. Because they "love the breed so much". The large breed dogs have 10 puppies at a time and they sell them for $5.000 each. No profit there. Only a really uninformed person would believe this. This is where I come in: to inform you. And to make matters worse. Not only do they brag about being so "ethical", some slam people like me that are actually dedicated to the breed. They call us only for profit breeders. Of course we have to make a profit. Our dogs are very well provided for here and we work really hard. We give up a lot to stay home most of the time with our family member dogs. When you go to a breeder's home and see 5 or 6 large dogs in the yard, add up the profit that breeder makes to "improve the breed". If each female has only one litter a year, that's 40 puppies a year at $5,000 each puppy. The math on that breed alone is $200,000. And they have chihuahua puppies available most of the time; that they sell for $3,000 to $6,000 each. No profit there. It shocks me that they think the public is so stupid. When someone is unethical enough to lie to the public like this, what else are they lying about and what does that say about the charactor of that breeder

Our Commitment to You

We encourage personal pickup at our home. We are very proud to show off the living conditions of our AKC dogs and have buyers meet the parents and see the relatives. If everyone would demand to see the living conditions, the abuse would finally end and bad breeders would go out of business.

Please feel free to request vet records of our adults proving their health and the results of their genetic testing. At Uey's we respect people that request health information and are never annoyed to respond with the proof.
