Welcome to our available puppy page. You came to the right place if you are looking for a healthy, beautiful and very social chihuahua puppy. At Ueys, we realized long ago that chihuahuas can ALL be very friendly and love every stranger they meet if raised properly. We also aggressivly work on potty training. The breeder has to be dedicated and willing to stay home most of the time. Breeders that work 40 hours a week at an outside job and hang out at dog shows all weekend are not doing justice to their puppies at home or their adults that need CONSTANT attention. With almost 3.5 decades of meticulously breeding out unhealthy traits and consistenly upgrading standards, we do not need to spend all of our precious spare time attending dog shows to prove anything. When you visit here, you will meet VERY social puppies. We are proud of our breeding program; that we have been improving upon since 1992. Our dogs have excellent health insurance with Fetch and are genetically tested. Feel free to ask to see proof and I will proudly reply. When you purchase a puppy from Uey's, you will also have access to a very dedicated breeder that answers her phone for her saved contacts right away and provides her home phone for after hours if needed.

I only want them to go to loving homes; that do not need the registration number to register with the AKC or even worse, with another registery; that only requires that number to register a puppy for breeding. I can show you that all my adults are AKC registered when you visit and ask to see any or all of my dog's records. I will not, however provide copies that breeders can use to register under a lower classed registery. Any breeder that provides registration numbers or limited AKC registration is ONLY protecting the AKC brand NOT the particular precious puppy from puppymillers.

If you are interested in a retired adult, click the chihuahua tab at the top of this page
My adult dogs are genetically tested with Embark for 234 genetic conditions. This test covers a common eye condition that causes blindness in chihuahuas as they get older. By testing my dogs, I know that I can 100% prevent passing this condition on to any of my puppies. I wish the test helped with a few conditions that it does not cover, but it is a the best tool for now, for breeders that breed responsibly. The testing also helps with determining genetic diversity. My adults are also insured with Fetch health insurance. These dogs get the best of everything. They are all treated with dignity, love and respect. All of my dogs are AKC registered, but I do not give AKC papers for my puppies for their protection. I do not want them going to breeders and not having papers makes them less desirable for breeders that could potentially abuse them.

All my puppies are wormed each week starting at 4 days old and come with a vet issued health certificate. Starting at 8 weeks old, they get a 5 way shot from the vet, and get two more shots 3 weeks apart if I still have them. If you would like a vet reference, I can provide that upon request. My puppies also come with a written one year genetic health guarantee.
We have been breeding chihuahuas at Uey's since 1992.
I start posting puppies at birth. The reason I do this is so many breeders lie about the puppy's age to give a false illusion of a teacup. If you see a puppy on my site that is 6 weeks old for instance, you can go back and look at my youtube videos and see that I am truthful about the age of my puppies. There will be a video for that puppy going back to birth. When people come here to visit, I can put the puppies on a very accurate scale I have and compare the weights to the puppy weight chart in front of them. The reason why people buy puppies that end up being 10 pounds when they were told the puppy would weigh 4 pounds is because they sell 5 or 6 week old puppies and say they are 8 weeks old. Bad breeders do this because they know everyone wants a chihuahua that is as small as they can find for the price. This happens all the time. Buyer beware.
I do not put puppies in dangerous cargo, but have other safe options. We will hand deliver for $2.00 a mile calculated from Summerfield Florida, but only up to 200 miles or so. .<>
I can also have a reliable transport company bring a puppy on a plane to you or use ground transport for a very reasonable fee. NOTE: I will not allow a puppy under 1 weeks to travel in a van with other puppies. This is a very good way to infect that puppy with parvo. Any breeder that would allow this does not love thier puppies or they are stupid. (Can't think of a more appropriate word) Privite transport is available for a younger puppy, but is more expensive than transporting with a few other puppies coming from different breeders. I will not allow ground transport if the trip takes more than a day. It is just too much stress on the puppy and air travel is, therefore, a better option. Costs vary, but I can usually get a puppy to let's say Miami or the Florida panhandle for under $500.
